From the same show as last week’s #rideoftheweek, comes a 1934 Chevrolet Street Rod. This car initially got my attention because it was presented to me as the best-in-show for the day, but there had been a mix up and the award was actually intended for the ’32 Chevy featured last week. However, this car’s presentation, was still a winner in my book.
This all-steel bodied coupe was purchased on eBay Motors from an owner in WV who did all this fabulous paint work including the airbrushed flames and city skyline mural on the trunk lid. Bob Stutzman just loved the body style and that’s what sent him to browse eBay looking for a formal roof, pre-war car.
Over his 12-year tenure as owner, Bob has replaced the engine with a bored-out 350 (more like 355 now), and added A/C, a new grill, new headlights, and Foose wheels. It has a 700R4 automatic running to a rear-end sourced from a ’76 Camaro.
If you’d like your ride to be featured as a #carshowlife #rideoftheweek, send us your story and at least 6 photos to info@carshowlife.com.
